Our Tradition

Practice, Reflection and Service

We carved a yoga path in the context of service, through which a combination of practice and self reflection encouraged us to find the purpose of yoga... off the mat! This wisdom has empowered us to guide, offering our discoveries to others.

About Turiya of Alaska

Pronounced Tuh-Ree-Ahh

Turiya of Alaska was boldly founded in Anchorage with a simple idea in mind: Yoga is for everybody, not just those who can afford a pricey yoga studio membership. Initially run as a Prison Yoga program, Turiya has expanded based on the growing need in our community and now offers services in a variety of facilities, institutions and corporate settings across the city.
